My Approach
I believe that pain is real, protective, and influenced by many factors.
Pain is not always a direct measure of tissue damage. The nervous system, emotions, stress, beliefs, habits, movement patterns, sleep, and life experiences can all influence how pain is experienced.
By understanding these influences, many people find that recovery becomes possible again.
Typically, in an initial assessment, you spend time helping your Physiotherapist to understand your pain—where it is, how it behaves, what aggravates it. But traditionally, your therapist hasn’t gone deeply enough into how emotional stress, unresolved experiences, and trauma can also manifest physically. These factors can contribute to injury, delay healing, or can even be at the root of pain that feels otherwise unexplained.
If you’re living with pain, looking for long lasting relief and a physiotherapist with innovative treatments I’m excited to show you how my practice has evolved specifically to help you and how my own personal experience has shaped my practice.
The results have been remarkable.
I’ve seen clients with long-standing, complex pain experience significant reductions in symptoms within just a few sessions. Others with persistent neck and upper back pain, often accompanied by tension headaches, have found relief where previous treatments had fallen short.
When we work together, you are choosing treatment that offers results from where these therapies intersect, you will begin to understand patterns in your body and why certain injuries keep recurring despite doing all the “right” exercises. You’ll have the whole picture.
